TAG-Knowledge and Palliative Care Clinic Sign Cooperation Agreement

The Diploma aims at qualifying participants to work in the palliative care and pain treatment field
AMMAN------ May 31, 2011-------Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-Knowledge) and the Palliative Care Clinic signed a cooperation agreement to establish Abu-Ghazaleh Diploma in Palliative Care and Pain Treatment.
The Diploma aims at qualifying participants to work in the palliative care and pain treatment field and the significance of which stems from the international and regional interest in such specialization as well as the call for adopting this specialization in hospitals and medical institutes and training the medical staff in order to build specialized working teams.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Tareq Hammad, TAG-Knowledge executive director and Dr. Mohammed Bushnaq, Palliative Care and Pain consultant.
Dr. Mohammed Bushnaq and specialists in Psychiatry, Behavioral Science, Nutrition, Alternative Medicine, Physiotherapy and physical education will supervise the implementation of the program, which expected to be conducted next June.
This cooperation is consistent with the agreement signed between TAG-Knowledge and the Consultation and Training Centre at the German-Jordanian University to launch training diplomas accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
