Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College of Business Accredited as a British Council’s Attached Centre
09 Dec 2007AMMAN - The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College of Business (TAGCB), one of the faculties of the German- Jordanian University, has been accredited as a British Council’s Attached Centre to promote and supply the main suite of English Language Examinations (KET, PET, FCE, CAE and CPE) offered by the University of Cambridge –ESOL Examinations.
Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAGCB’s Chairman of the Advisory Board said “This is an excellent and fruitful move in the education sector that will allow individuals to have a certificate in the English language for life. This agreement will include Jordan for the time being with prospects for future plans to cover the region.”
Abu-Ghazaleh focused on the role of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Languages Academy (TAGLA), which also conducts teaching Arabic for speakers of other languages.
Meanwhile, the British Council Country Director Mr. Charlie Walker congratulated TAGCB on the success of running ESOL Examinations.
“TAGCB has proved to be an excellent player in the educational sector and this is evidenced by the high number of recruits and programs. This agreement is just a start for future plans and strategies by both the British Council and TAGCB,” he stated.
Dr. Reem Rabadi, Director of the TAGLA stressed on the importance of the Academy in providing English language courses for personal, professional and academic purposes.
“This agreement constitutes a milestone for TAGLA and we believe that such cooperation will be beneficial for our future plans in broadening the scope in teaching English,” she stated.
The Academy provides courses in the English language at all levels tailored to the needs of every individual and is conducts these under the supervision of a highly experienced team.
