ASCA (Jordan) and Al Yarmouk University Discuss Cooperation

AMMAN----- April 6, 2011------- A delegation representing the Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) met with Dr. Ahmad Al Omari, director of Queen Rania Center for Jordanian Studies and Community Service at Al Yarmouk University.
The meeting discussed the aspects of cooperation in various fields, most important of which is the opening of a branch of ASCA in the Center’s headquarters through which the professional services of ASCA will be provided.
In addition, ASCA Jordan will hold qualifying professional courses such as Arab Certified Professional Accountant "ACPA" and the Jordanian Certified Public Accountant "JCPA" in addition to many specialized courses in the fields of accounting and business. The certificates will be issued in the name of ASCA (Jordan) and Al Yarmouk University.
On the other hand, the professional publications of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) will be promoted and sold in the northern governorates of the Kingdom.
Dr. Al Omari appreciated the proposed initiatives that will qualify students and develop their skills and tendencies in order to accomplish effectiveness in the Arab organizations and utilize the available resources to the maximum.
He extended his gratitude to HE Senator Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for his ongoing support for education and to ASCA (Jordan) for dedicating the university a series of ASCA professional publications.
It is worth noting that the ASCA endeavors to develop the science of accounting and management and all related principles that are applied in all or part of the professional services. It seeks also to develop the levels of efficiency, practices and behavior to the highest professional levels through accounting publications and the follow-up of new and modern ideas in the accounting and auditing professions.
