Senator Abu-Ghazaleh Delivers a Lecture on “Geo-Economy in Jordan and the Region” at Shoman Forum

Senator Abu-Ghazaleh will tackle several key issues, most important of which is the global financial crisis, its consequences, and the global geo-economic change and the world trade trends in terms of oil, currency war, and the Asian Intra-Trade
AMMAN --- December 27, 2010 --- HE Senator Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), will deliver today a lecture entitled “Jordan and the Region: Where Are We Heading Geo-Economically?” at Abdul Hameed Shoman Forum.
Abu-Ghazaleh will tackle several key issues, most important of which is the global financial crisis, its consequences, and the global geo-economic changes and the world trade trends in terms of oil, currency war, and the Asian Intra-Trade.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh will address the geo-economic changes in the Arab world, including the main economic trends in some Arab countries, and the pioneering initiatives launched by Abu-Ghazaleh through the Arab States Research and Education Network (ASREN) and through the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA).
In his lecture, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh shall also talk about economic issues related to Jordan through the Free Trade Zone Agreements, competitiveness, internal investment, and some other economic aspects of local, regional, and international dimension.
The lecture will be moderated by HE Dr. Thabet Al-Taher, general manger of Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization, an international group with more than 2000 specialist and professional operating in 73 offices in the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, India, Russia, Cyprus, Pakistan, and China, in addition to representative offices in Europe and North America.
Abu-Ghazaleh has recently been elected in Geneva as a co-chairman of the Global Challenges Forum, one-of-a-kind organization comprising think-tanks, research centers, and academic institutions.
