AGIP Participates in APTLD Meetings

AGIP's participation in such events is part of its commitment and dedication to contribute to the domain name industry, as well as support all new IDN launches in the region and beyond

AMMAN------November 4, 2010---------Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) participated in the annual Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association (APTLD) meeting hosted by the National Information and Technology Center (NITC) in Amman Oct. 30- Nov. 1, 2010.AGIP Participates in APTLD Meetings

AGIP's participation in such events is part of its commitment and dedication to contribute to the domain name industry, as well as support all new Internationalized Domain Name (IDN) launches in the region and beyond.

According to Ms. Norma Saqr, AGIP domain specialist and consultant: "Our involvement in the discussions and presentations concerning IDN promotion and awareness, trademarks and domain names issues, prove our full support of any new developments in this industry, which shall ultimately assist in the protection of the brands and domain names of our clients."

In addition, the event hosted several discussions and presentations regarding various issues such as ICANN updates, the new gTLD programs, and ICT development in Jordan.
