Abu-Ghazaleh Joins the Catholic Community at New Year's Mass Service

AMMAN----January 8, 2014-----HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) joined the Christian community January 1st praying for the well being of the world as he attended the New Year's mass service at the Greek Catholic Melkite Jordan Church of Saint George headed by HE Yasser Ayyash, Archbishop of Petra and Philadelphia (Jordan).

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh was warmly received by Fr Bassam Shahateet and the Catholic community who expressed their message of peace and joy in fine splendor atmosphere filled with the echo of carols, Christmas trees, stars and well-wishes.

A special reception in honor of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh was held after the mass service attended by a host of the Christian Community members.

Speaking to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, Fr Shahateet said: "We have been blessed by your attendance and wisdom, we have been following up on your success and determination and today we feel blessed by your presence among the devoted Christian society members who began the New Year by praying for peace, love and well being."

Meanwhile, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his happiness in attending the mass service saying: "I am really happy to attend the New Year mass service for we are all a one community with one culture and have one tradition joined by love and understanding and I pray to meet soon in other occasions at the Church of the Nativity and Al Aqsa Mosque."
