AMMAN – The number of beneficiaries from the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital scholarship provided to Palestinian students in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and refugees in the diaspora has reached 407 students.

The scholarship came as part of the initiative launched by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), to enable Palestinian youth to pursue a Master's degree by offering them fully-funded scholarships.

The scholarship paves the way for students to pursue higher studies in different disciplines at the “Digital University” to empower them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively contribute to supporting the growth of their communities.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh emphasized that these scholarships crystallize his belief that education is the catalyst for change, pointing out that the response of the Palestinians to the scholarship, despite the difficult conditions in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, is a testament to the unconquerable spirit of the Palestinian people, and it reflects their determination to survive, learn, gain knowledge and strive for excellence.

He continued by adding that the large number of registered students so far indicates the growing enthusiasm for education among Palestinian youth, paving the way for the initiative's goal to reach one million students, for the purpose of preparing a society that is capable of securing its future and leading its country towards liberation.

It is worth mentioning that Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global University (TAG-GU) established in 2018, offers several distance-learning Master’s programs through the free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), which enables thousands of students to enroll in the best programs offered worldwide.
